Advantages
IconFriendly staff
IconPunctuality
IconPleasant air temperature
Disadvantages
IconLoud engine noise
IconToilet dirty
IconToilet paper was missing
On this journey, the exact same problem was that the engine noise of the train was very loud, which meant that the announcements were unintelligible. Another complaint was that the toilets were very unhygienic and lacked toilet paper. The air conditioning in the train was pleasantly adjusted and the seats very comfortable. The staff were friendly, even when I pointed out the toilet paper problem to them. So the equipment and the journey itself went without incident and the train was on time.
Advantages
IconComfortable seats and sufficient power sockets
IconPunctuality
IconLow capacity utilisation
IconNo changeover necessary
Disadvantages
IconLonger journey time due to regional railway
Icontoo cold in the passenger compartment
IconPoor internet connection
IconNo staff
To get from Gera to Leipzig, I had to take the regional train. This took considerably longer than a regional express train. However, I didn't have to change trains here. The train was very clean and the toilets were very hygienic. What's more, the train was barely full as it consisted of three trains. Unfortunately, it was far too cold for me on the train. There was also no staff on my section of the train. I found the seats comfortable and there were plenty of power sockets. Only the internet connection was very poor, as it was interrupted all the time. Otherwise, the train was quite punctual.
