Euskirchen to Cologne train with Deutsche Bahn Regio (DB Regional)

This train had been very full on my journey, so many passengers who boarded after me didn't get a seat. That's why it had been quite noisy. The train had been slightly delayed by 5 minutes. I have to criticise the fact that there was no legroom in the seats. However, power sockets and wifi were available and worked. On the whole, the train looked clean and the toilets were clean too. The conductor was always friendly and was very quick with the checks. There was also the special feature that a snack machine with coffee was available.

The train from Euskirchen to Cologne was punctual and reliable. It left the station in Euskirchen at the scheduled departure time and even reached Cologne a few minutes before the expected arrival time. The cleanliness of the train was generally satisfactory. The seats, windows and floors were clean and I could not find any major defects. The train was very accessible for people with reduced mobility. There was enough space for wheelchairs and other aids. The toilets on the train were fine, but not exceptionally clean. There was soap and towels, but they could be cleaned more often. The bistro on the train offered a good selection of drinks and snacks. The prices were reasonable and the service was friendly. Overall, my train journey from Euskirchen to Cologne was pleasant and convenient. The strength in this connection lay in its punctuality and accessibility, while there is still room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and the quality of the toilets.

I took a wonderful train journey on the Regional Express from Euskirchen to Cologne on 15/08/2023. The facilities were excellent, stable wifi and working sockets made for a pleasant working atmosphere. The comfort was excellent, the seats were comfortable and the noise level on the train was pleasantly low. A small catering service was also available. The service was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Booking facilities were available and information was communicated regularly and clearly. The cleanliness was impeccable, both the general standard of hygiene and the toilets were immaculate. The journey time was optimal, I reached my destination on time without having to change trains. The price-performance ratio was excellent, the fare was more than reasonable for the service and comfort offered. I can only warmly recommend this train journey.
