First the trains were late, then they finally broke down completely towards the end and the next train only arrived after more than three hours. But the train was very clean and I got a good seat. Somewhat uncleanI use this connection very often, as it is my way to work. The train is often unpunctual, for which I can only give 4 stars. However, I quickly reached Erfurt main station. It is definitely quicker than being stuck in a traffic jam by car. It takes me just under 40 minutes to get there. Unfortunately, there is no wifi and no electricity on the train.
But there is a fresh air supply and enough light. The toilets are clean and the ticket is relatively cheap.
Definitely a quick route from Eisenach to Erfurt main station.
