Advantages

IconLarge selection of snacks
Disadvantages
IconActually none
The train connection from Düren to Cologne was generally punctual. However, there were a few delays due to roadworks and other unforeseen circumstances. Overall, punctuality was acceptable and the train was very clean and well maintained. The seats, floors and overall surroundings were in immaculate condition throughout the journey. The cleaning staff did a good job. A big plus was the availability of power sockets on the train. This allowed me to work on my laptop during the journey. The train was largely barrier-free and easily accessible for people with reduced mobility. There were designated areas for wheelchair users and plenty of space for pushchairs. The toilets on the train were fine, but could be cleaner. There was soap and water for washing hands, but the cleanliness could be improved. Overall, the train connection from Düren to Cologne was a good option for travellers. The positive aspects such as punctuality, electricity on the train, accessibility, overwhelm the minor shortcomings in the areas of cleanliness and toilets.
Advantages
IconConvenient and punctual
Disadvantages
IconI have not had any negative experiences.
The train connection was extremely comfortable and punctual. The train departed and arrived at Cologne Central Station at the scheduled time, which made for a stress-free journey. The train service was very accessible. There were designated spaces for wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility. The staff were helpful when it came to facilitating access. There were plenty of power sockets on the train to charge my electronic devices during the journey. The toilets on the train were clean but relatively small. There were also some technical issues with one of the toilets during the journey. Overall, the train journey from Düren to Cologne was pleasant and efficient. The price-performance ratio was also good.
Advantages
IconVery clean
IconStable wifi
Disadvantages
IconActually none
The train connection was very punctual overall. The train arrived only slightly late, but had no significant impact on my journey, and the ticket price was extremely reasonable compared to other means of transport. The cleanliness of the train was generally very good. The seats as well as the floor were well maintained and there was no obvious dirt or impurities. The wifi on the train was available, the connection was very good and always stable. The toilets on the train were clean and well equipped. They were cleaned regularly and there was always enough toilet paper and soap. The seats were very comfortable and offered plenty of legroom, the backrests were adjustable and there were plenty of power sockets near the seats for charging electronic devices. Overall, a pleasant experience for the train connection, especially due to the punctuality, favourable price and good seating comfort.
Advantages
IconComfortable seats with plenty of bins and good equipment
IconFriendly staff
IconNo delays and no need to change trains
IconCleanliness on the train
Disadvantages
Iconnoisy passengers
Almost everything had been fine on the journey from Düren to Cologne. The train was clean and had plenty of power sockets and a stable internet connection. The staff here were also very friendly and carried out a quick and uncomplicated ticket inspection. The seats here were also comfortable and there was plenty of legroom and even a rubbish bin in almost every row of seats, which were emptied. The train was also on time and I didn't have to change trains. The only thing I didn't like here were the passengers, who were very loud despite the low occupancy rate and I felt disturbed.
Advantages
IconGood price-performance ratio
IconVery fast
Icon90% punctuality
Disadvantages
IconA little overcrowded
I use this train connection very often, it costs me less than travelling by car, the only disadvantage is that the train is often overcrowded. Its positive aspects include its punctuality and very good value for money. There are few free seats because of the crowds, but the journey doesn't take too long. The toilet facilities are often occupied, but otherwise they are well equipped. The train connection is very fast and I always arrive at my destination on time 90% of the time, which is why I recommend this train connection.
Advantages
IconSuper punctual
IconCleanliness
IconFriendliness of the staff
Disadvantages
IconTrack changed without announcement
IconSeats not comfortable
IconOnly one wagon
All in all, the journey was satisfactory. However, the track was changed at the beginning without an announcement. It could only be viewed in the app. The seats were outdated and not very comfortable. Although the weather was good and it was foreseeable that many people would use the connection, there was only one carriage. The ticket validation (independently online) worked, which was very convenient. Overall, good value for money.
