The facilities during the journey from Cottbus to Dresden were average. The wifi worked for the most part, but there were some disconnections, which was a bit frustrating. There were enough power sockets to charge electronic devices. Comfort on the journey was acceptable. The volume on the train was fine, although occasionally loud conversations from other passengers could be heard. The seats were averagely comfortable but could do with better padding. There was no food option on board, which was a little disappointing. The service during the journey was fine. The train staff were friendly, but sometimes lacked information about delays or the next stop. It would have been desirable to have more regular announcements to keep passengers informed. The cleanliness on the train was good. Hygiene was well maintained and the toilets were mostly clean and well equipped. There were no major problems regarding cleanliness during the journey. The journey from Cottbus to Dresden required a change of trains. During the journey there was a short delay due to a technical problem on another train.
