Advantages
IconNice drivers
IconNice passengers
IconNice controllers
Disadvantages
IconVery dirty floors
IconUnhygienic disgusting toilets
IconMany homeless people who fare and disturb your journey
The facilities were not so good now, I had a power socket that didn't work properly and no internet connection. The seats were comfortable but not really very clean, it was way too noisy. Unfriendly service. The only thing that was clean was a few seats. The journey time was way too long, but did not have to change trains. Train was about 6 minutes late. I definitely paid too much for this trip.
Advantages
Iconclean toilets
Disadvantages
Iconunfortunately very much delayed due to the storm
Iconthereby also a lot of chaos
I took the train from Berlin Hbf to Bielefeld Hbf and the journey was unfortunately very mixed. As I had already taken the train to Berlin before, everything went smoothly and I was on time for the ICE train to Bielefeld. Unfortunately, there was a heavy storm that day, so the train was already an hour late and, disappointingly, there was a lot of chaos at Berlin Hbf. Many passengers did not know which train was currently on the track as the displays and announcements were uncoordinated and the services on the train were also very limited due to the lack of staff. Nevertheless, the toilets were very clean and the seats very comfortable. Disappointingly, due to the large number of passengers, the wifi was very poor. The journey itself was quite pleasant, as the railway itself can't do anything about the chaos caused by bad weather, but the organisation behind it could have been improved.
Advantages
IconDirect connection
IconSpeed
IconWIFI
IconComfort
Disadvantages
IconOnly one socket per double seat
The direct ICE train connection from Berlin to Bielefeld is very convenient. My train was on time, so I only needed 150 minutes. I was lucky to have a double seat to myself, so I also had sole access to the power socket. Thanks to wifi, I was able to work perfectly and in peace. The train runs quietly and the passengers were also quiet. The toilets were clean and the seats had enough legroom, so I can't complain about the comfort. The Super Sparpreis also offers good value for money!
Advantages
IconPunctuality
IconDuration
Disadvantages
IconSanitary facilities
Personally, I found the train journey quite pleasant and relatively well organised. Fortunately for me, the train was on time, as I had an important appointment afterwards. The comfort was definitely there, but the seats could have been a bit softer. The train was clean except for the sanitary facilities, where the hygiene could have been improved. Not a bad journey and I would gladly travel again.
