I enjoyed this journey very much, the scenery is unique from Basel to Zurich. The staff is very courteous and friendly. You are in very good hands here on the train to Zurich. There is nothing safe, but the train arrives safely, on time, just as it should according to the Swiss clock.
Advantages
IconNo change of trains on the Interregio
Disadvantages
IconNumerous stops
The train journey from Basel to Zurich Airport by Interregio was a pleasant experience overall, despite some minor compromises. The trains were noticeably clean and well maintained, which contributed to a pleasant travel experience. Thanks to the direct connection without changing trains, time and effort were saved. The route also offered scenic views that pleasantly shortened the time on the train. The opportunity to enjoy the view during the journey helped to make the extra 15 minutes of travel time less of an issue compared to the fastest intercity connections.
Advantages
IconSimple booking
Disadvantages
IconExpensive
Despite the, in my opinion, somewhat overpriced train ticket from Wifi to Zurich, I found this train journey very pleasant because the wifi worked perfectly. I also liked the very simple online booking. Above all, I thought it was great that I didn't have to change trains on my journey and was therefore able to reach my destination very quickly. The toilets and the whole train were very clean and well maintained.

Disadvantages
IconNo bistro on board

IconComplicated booking
If you book a ticket abroad with the German railway, you will quickly encounter some problems. In some cases, no routes are displayed or you have to filter them specifically. Unfortunately, seat reservations are still not included in the fare, which the competition can do much better. The bistros on IC trains were recently abolished, so you are on your own when it comes to catering. Unfortunately, the ticket is not issued as a QR code, but only as a booking confirmation.

Disadvantages
IconCramped upper deck
I travelled from Basel to Zurich on the IC 775 in less than an hour. The punctuality of Swiss trains is truly impressive. With my Interrail ticket, I didn't need an additional seat reservation and looked for a free seat in 1st class. I was on the upper deck of the double-decker train and found it a little cramped. The seats were made of fabric and comfortable, but not as comfortable as leather seats I found. There were Swiss sockets built into the walls, which I was able to use to charge my mobile phone. However, the good air conditioning and the impeccable cleanliness of the train should be emphasised.

I travelled on the IC 532 train from Basel to Zurich and it was a pleasant experience. The journey took about 55 minutes and was a direct connection with no changes, which made the journey very comfortable. The train departed on time and also arrived in Zurich on time, which I really appreciated. The seats were comfortable and there was plenty of space for luggage. The cleanliness and comfort on the train were also very good. The only downside was the price of the ticket, which was a bit expensive, especially for a relatively short journey. Nevertheless, a very efficient and stress-free way to travel.

I travelled on the SBB IR 36 2063 from Basel SBB to Zurich HB and the journey was very positive. The train was kept very clean, the corridors as well as the WCs and the staff were always friendly. The seats were also very comfortable, so you really felt at home. There was also a bistro on the train, which had plenty of food and drinks to choose from and in my opinion they were of good quality.

IR 36 2063 offers a fast and reliable connection between Basel and Zurich. The train departed on time to the minute and also arrived at its destination on time. The train has an on-board bistro where there was plenty of choice of snacks, food and drinks. The service staff were also very polite and the train was also equipped with sufficient sockets so that you can charge your mobile phone or laptop at any time.

I travelled from Basel SBB to Zurich HB on the SBB IR 36 2063 and it was a very positive experience. The train departed on time to the minute and I was immediately greeted in a friendly manner by the staff. I hadn't reserved any seats, but there were plenty available on the train. The corridors in the train itself were great, but unfortunately the toilets were a little dirty. The large windows allowed me to take in the beautiful scenery during the journey. All in all, a very positive experience, only the hygiene in the toilets is desirable.

My journey from Basel to Zurich was absolutely superb! The direct journey on the IC-7456 took me quickly and effortlessly to my final destination and took only 26 minutes. The departure from Basel main station was on time, the train was new, clean and well equipped. The train attendants were friendly and created a relaxed atmosphere. The entire journey was smooth and easy, with no problems or disruptions. The station in Zurich was easy to reach, which made the journey more pleasant. I was definitely impressed by this fast, stress-free direct connection.

It took me less than an hour to get from Basel to Zurich. The best thing was that the train was on time for the whole journey. Unfortunately, the train was relatively full, so I had to stand at the beginning. It was also very noisy on the train because of all the people. The cleanliness could have been a bit better. The toilets, on the other hand, were clean and all worked. The staff also remained calm and friendly despite the crowds. The train also had wifi and power sockets at the seat. I didn't have to change trains here. Overall, the journey was fine, but could have been better!

At last I can give a positive review. I travelled on the IC1255 from Basel to Zurich. The ICE trains in Switzerland always run on time and are rarely late. The system is probably different in Switzerland. I was able to book the ticket very easily via my Deutsche Bahn app, which made the whole thing very straightforward. The train was very clean and not completely full. The staff on the train were very friendly. The toilet facilities were also clean and well maintained. The wifi provided also worked perfectly, so it was easy to pass the time.
