Travel to Den Haag train station from the Hague city center

The Hague is the third-largest city of The Netherlands, and the place where the Dutch parliament, the UN International Court of Justice, and the International Criminal Court are seated. On foot, it takes approximately 18 minutes to reach the station via the Lange Voorhout, Korte Voorhout en Laan van Reagan and Gorbatsjov. By bus or tram, the journey takes approximately eight to thirteen minutes. The distance to Station Hollands Spoor is approximately 1 mile (1.7 km). From the Grote Markt, the walking distance to train station Den Haag Centraal is 0.9 mile (1.4 km). The fastest route is via the Grote Marktstraat and the Turfmark, and takes approximately 17 minutes. By tram the journey only takes about seven minutes, making this the recommended form of transportation. Station Hollands Spoor is slightly closer, as it’s located 0.9 miles (1.5 km) from the Grote Markt. The Peace Palace is located 1.6 miles (2.6 km) from train station Den Haag Centraal. On foot, the journey would take 33 minutes and by bus it’s a 14-minute ride. The distance to Station Holland Spoor is 1.9 miles (3.1 km).

Train station Den Haag Centraal is highly accessible for travelers with limited mobility. The station has wheelchair-friendly toilets, ramps for wheelchair access to the platforms, and check-in points with extra-wide passages for wheelchair users. The station has several levels, and the higher levels can be accessed by elevator. Special assistance can be requested and is provided by employees of the railway company.
