Pinkbus: Always direct, always the same price

The colorful way to travel around Germany

Pinkbus was launched in the summer of 2019 to offer passengers in Germany a new and stylish way to travel between major German metropolitan areas.

Pinkbus is the hot pink express bus that comfortably connects routes between Berlin, Munich and Düsseldorf with plans to expand to other German cities. Consistency is key for Pinkbus, meaning the ticket price always remains the same—€25 one-way. Their modern and efficient buses will take you directly to your destination with no hidden stops along the way–pinky swear!

Pinkbus believes that every minute of your journey is precious whether you are traveling on holiday or for business. Ease of travel and accessibility are two of its core promises. This includes wheelchair-friendly buses as well as support for those travelling with a guide dog.

Their coaches offer lots of legroom and comfortable seats as well as USB sockets and personal reading lights. If you’re an eco-conscious traveller, Pinkbus has you covered. Their state-of-the-art coaches emit the lowest carbon dioxide emissions per passenger kilometer of any bus company—a clean win-win if you ask us. So, what are you waiting for? Color your journey with Pinkbus.

Pinkbus: a modern bus company

Pinkbus coaches are easily recognizable due to their eye-catching hot pink exterior and the sleek design of the Neoplan Skyliner double decker that makes up their fleet. The interior mirrors the luxe exterior with a loungey ambiance and comfortable seats affording passengers lots of space. Pinkbus coaches are also wheelchair-friendly, ensuring safety is their main priority. So, sit back, relax and enjoy a comfortable and smooth bus journey. What comforts can you expect on Pinkbus?

Pinkbus FAQS

Can I exchange or refund my ticket?

You can change your booking up to 48 hours before departure.

In case of overbooking, or a cancelation or delay in departure of more than two hours, passengers are entitled to a refund or an exchange of their ticket. If Pinkbus fails to offer this refund, passengers have the right to compensation amounting to 50 percent of the ticket price. You can also change your booking for free of charge but this is only possible directly via the providers' website.

How much baggage can I bring?

In general, you can take one carry-on bag (backpack or handbag, not a suitcase) and two pieces of luggage with you for free. Your carry-on item must not exceed a maximum weight of 7 kg. The total dimensions of each piece of luggage may not exceed 160 cm (width + height + depth) and may not weigh more than 20 kg. Contact Pinkbus if you are unsure if your baggage will fit.

Do children get a discount?

Unfortunately, children, regardless of age, do not receive a discount.

For children ages 0 to 3, parents or guardians must bring a car seat that can be secured with a three-point seat belt.

Children up to 8 years must be accompanied by an adult. Children between 8 and 15 years may travel unaccompanied with a declaration of consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Can I bring my pet on board?

Guide dogs and service dogs travel for free but all other animals are prohibited. Contact Pinkbus before travel so that the company can reserve a seat next to you for your guide dog.

Can you travel on Pinkbus buses with limited mobility?

Pinkbus wants to make travel easier for all passengers and that includes anyone in a wheelchair or with limited mobility. All buses are wheelchair accessible, from the entrance to the restroom.

Buses come equipped with two designated wheelchair seats that can be booked before departure. If you want to stow away your wheelchair or other mobility device you can do so in the baggage compartment.

Do I need to print my Pinkbus ticket?

No, if you book with Omio you can easily add a mobile ticket to your device.

Will I still get every 10th Pinkbus journey for free if I book with Omio?

Yes! But you have to claim it via the Pinkbus homepage using the same e-mail as you did to book your previous journeys with us.
