About
Empresa Manoel Rodrigues was a Brazilian transport company founded in 1939 in Avaré, São Paulo, by Manoel Rodrigues. It began by operating a line between Avaré and Taquarituba with a 1938 Chevrolet vehicle, later expanding to serve over 40 municipalities with 27 intercity and suburban routes, as well as offering charter and tourism services. In 2010, the company was acquired by Grupo Comporte, led by Nenê Constantino, which also controls Gol Linhas Aéreas. In February 2021, Empresa Manoel Rodrigues was incorporated into Princesa do Norte, another company within the same group, as part of a restructuring effort.
