Baltour is one of the largest private bus companies in Italy. Baltour buses travel to 17 Italian regions and more than 130 destinations in Italy and beyond. In cooperation with other major bus companies like Eurolines, Baltour's bus network now extends to 350 cities across 23 European countries.
By searching your trip in advance with Omio, you can take advantage of the discounted rates Baltour offers on many routes in Italy and Europe. Baltour tickets are personal and can not be transferred. Travelers must print the ticket or show it in electronic format whenever possible. Children under 10 years are entitled to 50% discount on the adult rate.
Ordinary Tickets
Validity: The ticket is valid only for the bus specified on the ticket. Passengers cannot travel on any other bus with this type of ticket.
Changes and Cancellations: This type of ticket is refundable until departure with a deduction of 20% of the initial price. Changes to the ticket can be made for a payment of €5, if requested within 30 days of the booking.
Flex Tickets
Validity: Flex tickets for Baltour buses are only available when you buy in advance. Flex tickets provide a flexible discount depending on the available seats and how far in advance the ticket was booked. Flex tickets are only valid for the selected bus.
Changes and Cancellations: The ticket is refundable up until departure with a deduction of 50% of the initial price. Flex tickets allow only one change before departure for a supplemental payment of €5.
Low-Cost Tickets
Validity: Low-cost Baltour tickets are sold for as little as €9 if purchased at least 15 days in advance or €19 if purchased at least 10 days before departure. The rate is subject to low-cost ticket availability. Low-cost tickets are only valid for the selected bus.
Changes and Cancellations: Low-cost tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable.
Eurolines ItalyPass: This is a discount card valid for 7, 15, or 30 days which can be used in Italy and Europe (France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands), which provides unlimited bus travel and a fixed price. The Eurolines ItalyPass period of validity starts during the first trip. The Eurolines ItalyPass card also allows travelers preferrence booking, so you have complete freedom to decide your own itinerary during the trip. The Eurolines ItalyPass is non-transferable and non-refundable. The routes available are offered by Baltour, Eurolines, and Sena. Any changes for a booked trip cost €5.
ItalyBus - Baltour Card: Travelers 26 years or older can buy this discount card for €30. The card is valid for 1 year and provides a 20%-30% discount on regular price bus tickets which travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The card is personalized and non-transferable. Passengers with disabilities may purchase this card for €5 instead of €30.
ItalyBus - Youth Baltour Card: Travelers under 26 years old can buy this discount card for €10. The card is valid for 1 year and provides a 25%-35% discount on regular price bus tickets which travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. This card does not provide discounts for bus routes in Sicily. The card is personalized and non-transferable.
Baltour offers daily buses between 130 cities in Italy. Baltour travels to both Italy's large urban cities like Rome, Naples, Milan, Florence, Bologna, Siena, Pescara and Venice and smaller cities only connected by buses. Many routes also offer night buses on particular days of the week which allow you to travel to your destination overnight.
