The bus lines 5, 11, 36, 60, 66, 90 and 91 all operate various routes to the airport that stop in Las Palmas, the city center. These buses typically depart every hour, but can be as frequent as every 20 minutes during peak hour. Buses are more frequent on weekends. These bus routes take 25 to 40 minutes to reach the airport.

Gran Canaria Airport sits 15.5 miles (25 kilometers) south of the Gran Canaria city center of Las Palmas.
