Very high utilisation of the rail replacement serviceOn the journey, there was a rail replacement service with buses between Werdau and Altenburg. That's why I had to change trains twice. Thanks to the good timetable, I made all my connections and the construction work did not affect my journey time too much. All trains were fully equipped and offered full comfort and service. The cleanliness on both trains was good and the toilets were clean. The thing that I found very good was that both trains offered catering facilities. What was a bit bad was the bus ride between Werdau and Altenburg. As the bus was quite small, it had been very full and many had to wait for the next bus. This could have been planned better.

The train staff were also friendly and had a sense of humour. The train left on time and also arrived on time. It was also not full, so there were enough seats for everyone.
