Advantages
IconWifi on the train
IconOne power source
Disadvantages
IconSomewhat unclean and disorganised
I give this train connection only three stars because the train was late, very unclean and smelled unpleasant. Booking the ticket online was very easy and unspectacular in my opinion. Unfortunately, the train arrived much too late, so I missed an important appointment. That annoyed me a lot. I had problems finding a free seat on the train because it was packed. The floor was sticky and there was something greasy on it, the walls looked the same. Disappointingly, I couldn't make my way to the toilet. There were no staff on the train to answer my questions. The only positive thing on the train was a stable wifi connection, which allowed me to continue working on my paper. Despite everything, the train was very fast, but as far as I am concerned, I will not use this train connection again.
Advantages
IconWork possible while driving
IconMore environmentally friendly than driving a car
IconVery good price-performance ratio
Disadvantages
IconDelays may occur
IconMay cause failures
On the route from Schwerin to Rostock, there were some delays due to a thunderstorm. Despite this, we didn't have to stop once and there was permanent electricity for charging electrical devices. The toilet was very clean and our reserved seats were also clean and the bins even emptied. The staff were very accommodating and were very friendly when one of our seatmates bought the wrong ticket.
Advantages
IconClean train and toilets
IconSeating comfort available
IconNo delay
Disadvantages
Iconno ticket control
IconVery noisy on the train due to families
It had been very noisy on the train to Rostock, as there were a lot of families with children travelling at that time. The train was very clean, as were the toilets. What struck me was that no one had checked the ticket. Otherwise, the seating comfort was complete and it was a pleasant journey without any delays.
Advantages
IconVery relaxed and fast
Disadvantages
IconUnfortunately late
Before you want to reserve a ticket with Deutsche Bahn, you should definitely download the app, without this app, you're screwed. I reserved a double seat for me and my girlfriend, it worked very well, we found these seats empty on the train. They were clean, not too hard and not too soft. The train facilities were average, unfortunately there was no snack machine, no wifi and no electricity. But the staff were very friendly and helpful. The windows, walls and floor were averagely clean. The noise level on the train was OK, and it was still easy to understand and talk to each other during the journey. The toilet was regrettably poor, it smelled very unpleasant, so you didn't really want to go there, otherwise, a very fast train connection, also cheap as I found.
Advantages
IconNew train
IconDirect connection
Disadvantages
IconNo wifi
IconComes late from time to time
I travelled the route with the Deutschland Ticket, so I don't have a direct ticket for the connection. The train has no sockets and no wifi. The seats are comfortable. Staff are mostly friendly. Train and toilets are very clean. Price-performance ratio is very good.

The journey by train from Schwerin to Rostock was okay overall, but the price was unfortunately a bit high. The trains were on time and the comfort was also okay, but for the price one could probably have expected a bit more. There was enough space to sit and also enough storage space for luggage, but the interior could have been a bit more modern. From my point of view, the price for the journey was just too high compared to other train journeys I have taken. Nevertheless, the journey was pleasant overall and I can recommend it if you are willing to pay a higher price.

I enjoyed the journey very much. Particularly impressive were the extremely comfortable seats, which were super cushioned. The service staff were very friendly and helpful. The journey went without any kind of glitches. Mobile phone reception was excellent and the sanitary facilities were hygienic. Overall, I can recommend the trip.

About 9 months ago I travelled from. Schwerin to Rostock by regional express train. The journey took about 1 hour, which was good. It was also good that I didn't have to change trains. The seats were very clean and so was the toilet. In addition, the price of the ticket was reasonable. Unfortunately, the train was a little late by 5 minutes.
