IconInformation about delay called
Disadvantages
IconDelay of 10 minutes
IconHigh utilisation
From Riesa to Leipzig, it was possible to travel directly, quickly and without changing trains on the Regionalexpress to Leipzig Hbf. The train had been very clean, but had a high occupancy rate, so I had to stand, which is why I can't say anything about the seating comfort. The facilities on the train were very good and the wifi connection was stable. The staff had been friendly and provided a lot of information. There was also a snack machine in the middle of the train. The train arrived at Leipzig Hbf with a delay of 10 minutes. The reason given was the high occupancy rate.
Advantages
IconNo changeover necessary
IconSockets and internet available
Disadvantages
IconDelay of 15 minutes
IconVery high capacity utilisation
IconPoor cleanliness
IconNo ticket inspection
The train from Riesa to Leipzig was already 10 minutes late before arriving in Riesa. This delay increased to 15 minutes by the time it reached Leipzig. Furthermore, the train had been very full, so there was hardly any room in the aisles and I couldn't get a seat. The cleanliness of the train was also not good. Unfortunately, there was also no ticket inspection due to the crowds. However, there was staff on hand, as they apologised for the delay via announcements and announced the next available connections. Apart from that, there were plenty of power sockets and a stable internet connection. I didn't have to change trains on this journey.
