Return journey from Paderborn to Kassel main station. I travelled by Intercity (IC) from Paderborn to Kassel. I booked the ticket via the Deutsche Bahn app. Unfortunately, it was not possible to make reservations for seats there. There was sufficient wifi and power sockets, but unfortunately there was no dining car. The toilets were intact and working. The staff was very nice, informative and friendly. The train was 5 minutes late during the journey. I then had to change trains once in Kassel Wilhelmshöhe. Here I had 8 min to change trains and was then with the RT 5 in 5min in Kassel Hauptbahnhof.

Disadvantages

IconSnack machine was missing
IconCleanliness train
The train from Paderborn to Kassel was relatively long, but also very full. That's why I couldn't get a seat. The noise level was also a bit too high. The train was also dirty. The toilets, on the other hand, were acceptable in terms of cleanliness and looked hygienic to me. The staff here were also very friendly and carried out a quick ticket check and made informative announcements. The facilities on the train were good. Unfortunately, I missed a snack machine. Otherwise, the train was 30 minutes late. Just as well I didn't have to change trains.
