I was able to travel quickly from Münster to Düsseldorf by IC train without changing trains. Although this train left on time, it arrived in Düsseldorf 20 minutes late due to a points fault. The train was relatively clean, but the toilet in my compartment was faulty. The staff were friendly and there was also an on-board bistro. The seats were comfortable and there were plenty of power sockets and stable internet. The ticket price was also okay for the route. I can recommend the journey despite the delay.

The train journey from Münster to Düsseldorf was satisfactory overall. The train was on time and the journey went smoothly. The seats were comfortable and the interior of the train was clean. There was also enough space for luggage. However, the price for the ride was not very cheap. Compared to other means of transport, it was much more expensive, which is a negative feature. Overall, however, the ride was pleasant and I would do it again if the price was a bit cheaper.

I took the train from Münster to Düsseldorf and I have to say it was pretty good. First of all, I have to say that there were no delays. Both when leaving and when arriving. The wifi there was also very good. You could use it without any problems and the connection was always stable. However, I have to say that there were many dirty seats on the train. I also have to say that the train ride was quite cheap compared to others. On the whole, I can only recommend it.

IconHygiene was non-existent in some places
The train journey from Münster to Düsseldorf was an average experience. Although the train was moderately equipped, it lacked some amenities such as power sockets and wifi. The comfort of the seats was okay, but not very comfortable. The cleanliness of the train was okay, but there were a few stains on the windows and floor. The service was friendly, but there was no special effort to satisfy the passengers. Overall, the train journey was okay, but there is definitely room for improvement.

I took the train from Münster to Düsseldorf and I have to say that this future was pretty bad. First of all, it has to be said that this train had a delay of about 20 minutes on arrival. Most of the seats there were also dirty. The only positive thing about the journey was that they had good internet. The price for this train ride was also a bit too expensive. That's why I can't recommend this train journey.

I also have to say that the train ride was quite cheap compared to others. On the whole, I can only recommend it.

I enjoyed the journey very much. Particularly impressive was the excellent hygiene and cleanliness in the compartment, but also in the toilets. I did not notice any weaknesses or negative aspects. The reception was excellent and the staff very friendly. Overall, I can recommend the trip.
Advantages
IconShower, clean toilets, food was delicious
Disadvantages
IconTrain was too late
Unfortunately, my 2nd class train was late. But the best thing was that there was a shower. I've never experienced anything so great as a shower on a train. It was also relatively cheap. I had a reclining seat, which was very comfortable. The wifi was also good. I can recommend it to others.

I made this journey on 5.12.2022. Up to a certain point, I was satisfied. Then more and more delays accumulated for reasons unknown. Then it came to a head and the train stopped 2 stations before the final station in Duisburg. Without any information all of a sudden and everyone had to see how to get on without being specifically informed. Very shitty of the German railway... On the return journey we were also over 45 minutes late and the journey was cancelled again 3 stops before the terminus... Train facilities were adequate as usual and it was not overly crowded.... However, I am absolutely not satisfied.

IconUnpunctual
I travelled this route with the ICE. The comfort was really great. I found a seat with a power socket right away. My journey started at 7:31 in the morning, which was the peak travel time. The service was also very friendly and asked people very nicely about their well-being. Unfortunately, the train was delayed quite a bit, which I really disliked. Would still travel the route again and again.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconPlace selection
I booked this train journey via Deutsche Bahn and had a four-person seat. Therefore, there was a waste bin and power sockets directly at my seat. It was also good that I didn't have to change trains and the delay time was relatively short at 5 minutes. On the negative side, however, the carriage was overcrowded and an extra carriage would definitely have been useful here. Overall, an average journey.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconNone
I definitely appreciate the fact that the staff went out of their way to provide me with information when I was unclear. What I don't often experience is that the train wasn't late and was on time to the minute. The sanitary facilities and the compartment were kept very hygienic and clean. The reception was also simply excellent. In terms of price, I also rate the journey as very good.
Advantages

IconComfortable seats with top equipment
IconNo delays and no changes

Disadvantages
IconExterior cleanliness
My train from Münster to Düsseldorf had a normal load factor and the volume in the passenger compartment was pleasant. The staff here were also friendly and gave us information about the next connections. The seats were also very comfortable and had plenty of legroom. The facilities were very good, as there was also a snack machine. The cleanliness inside was also very good in my opinion. Unfortunately, I couldn't look out of the window as the outside of the train was full of graffiti, which is why I have to deduct one star here. Otherwise, the train was on time and I didn't have to change trains.
Advantages
IconComfortable
Disadvantages
IconOne toilet was broken.
My colleague and I found the journey very pleasant. We arrived on time at our destination station, Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof. The conductor was polite, wifi and power sockets were available. It was quiet in our compartment. The only thing to criticise was that the toilet was broken.

Germany uses the euro (€) as its currency. Travelers generally find it convenient to use cards, especially contactless payments, in cities and larger establishments. However, cash is still widely accepted and sometimes preferred in smaller shops, markets, and rural areas. Carrying some cash is recommended for flexibility.
In Düsseldorf, travelers should be cautious of pickpocketing, especially in crowded areas like the Altstadt and major train stations. Common scams include fake charity collectors and overcharging in some taxis. It's advisable to keep belongings secure and use licensed transportation services to avoid issues.
Pack lightweight, versatile clothing suitable for the destination's climate, and use secure, lockable luggage to protect belongings. Keep essential items like travel documents, medication, and valuables in a carry-on bag for easy access. Use packing organizers or cubes to maximize space and maintain order. Lastly, include a small first aid kit and personal hygiene items for added comfort during travel.
