Advantages
IconPowerful wifi
IconLaptop sockets
IconFriendly staff
Disadvantages
IconOften high utilisation
IconLack of punctuality
IconNarrow corridors
As I am a trainee with Deutsche Bahn, I often take the train between Dessau and Erfurt to reach my vocational school (Erfurt) and my training workshop (Leipzig). The journey to Leipzig is shorter and less busy than the journey to Erfurt, but still usually high. Despite high occupancy, there is a pleasant silence, so you also have your peace and quiet. With a travel bag, however, I often have problems getting through the aisles, but it's not impossible. Otherwise, everything is top-notch, and I can only recommend a trip with Deutsche Bahn!
Advantages
IconFriendly staff
IconNo delays and no changes
IconGood equipment
Disadvantages
IconVery high capacity utilisation
IconToilets and passenger compartment dirty and unhygienic
This train had been very full, which is why I found it too loud in the passenger compartment. The cleanliness of the train had also been poor, which was particularly noticeable on the seats. The toilets were not hygienic either. Otherwise, there were enough power sockets and a stable internet connection. The staff were very friendly and carried out a quick ticket check. The train wasn't delayed and I didn't have to change trains.
