The time of the ICE on this route cannot be beaten by a car at around 40 minutes, which is why the train journey is very worthwhile on this connection, even if it is relatively expensive compared to the car journey for this route. On my journey, the train was clean and left on time and arrived in Erfurt on time. However, due to the high speeds, internet reception via the ICE wifi was somewhat unstable and it was relatively crowded on the train.

The staff were very nice and friendly to me. The atmosphere on the train was great. The food tasted good to me. The toilets were clean and not only in the toilets but in the whole train it was very clean. The seats were comfortable and I had several power sockets at my seat. It's nice to just sit on the train and not have to do anything and just enjoy the ride. Everything is clean, even in the toilets. The staff on the train and in the bistro are also always nice and helpful. Unfortunately, there are often delays or the trains are cancelled altogether. In the end, it's still good value for money and I would always travel with DB again.

As always, the ICE arrived on time in Leipzig, so it was easy to board and find a seat. The train was only moderately crowded, so you could quickly find a seat. Everything about this trip was just right, so it gets 5 stars and of course I can pass it on. When I arrived at the station, I immediately noticed that my train was very punctual and I got on and was greeted very nicely. Then I sat down and I noticed how comfortable the seats were. To the left of my seat I also had access to electricity and I had a table as well. Then I ordered some food and it arrived quickly, fresh and was very tasty. In the toilet, I had a clean and hygienic environment in front of me. The staff were particularly nice and the wifi was very good.

This trip was great and since it gets 5 stars, I recommend it to others. My favourite thing was that I was given a reclining seat in second class, which was very comfortable. The staff was very polite and did a good job too. I was comfortable using the toilet. It was very clean throughout the train. My train was also on time. All this at a wonderful price.
