Kiel to Eckernförde train with Nordbahn

It's only a stone's throw from Kiel to Eckernförde, but I still really enjoy travelling by train on this route. The RB gets you there in under half an hour and, especially if you book the ticket in combination with a longer train journey, you often pay less than with the other alternative means of transport. Logically, the RB is not furnished in luxury style, but there is nothing to complain about. The seats are very comfortable and the carriages are always kept in top condition.

The journey on the regional train from Kiel to Eckernförde was excellent as always. On the one hand, you can book the route at a brilliant price, and on the other, with a journey time of less than 20 minutes, you reach your destination in no time at all. A particularly positive aspect of this route is that the train is not very busy, you are usually almost alone in a compartment and can therefore enjoy the journey. There is also nothing negative to say about the staff or the facilities.
