Advantages
IconI had my peace and could work.
Disadvantages
IconThe wifi didn't work and I had to use my data allowance.
I had the opportunity to travel by train from Kassel, to and would like to share my experience. Overall, the train journey was mixed and there were a few points that influence my rating: cleanliness, comfort and value for money. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the train was disappointing. The seats were dirty and did not appear to be well cleaned. There was also rubbish on the floor which gave an unpleasant feeling to the comfort while the train ride was good. The seats were comfortable which made the journey enjoyable. There was plenty of legroom, which made for a comfortable seating position. In terms of value for money, the train from Kassel to Giessen was very okay.
Advantages
IconVery friendly staff
IconNo change and no delays
IconComfortable seats with good equipment
IconPleasantly quiet
Disadvantages
IconToilet defective
The train from Kassel to Giessen had a normal load factor and the noise level was also very pleasantly quiet. The seats on the train were comfortable and there were plenty of power sockets, as well as a reasonably stable internet connection, which was perhaps due to dead spots. Unfortunately, the only toilet on the train was broken. Otherwise, the train was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Especially as they had apologised for the inconvenience caused by the toilet. Apart from that, the train was hardly delayed and I didn't have to change trains until I reached my destination.
