The train connection between Ilmenau to Erfurt was very pleasant and the overall cleanliness of the train was satisfactory. The seats, floors and common areas were neat and tidy. The rubbish bins were emptied regularly and the train connection was generally very punctual. Arrival and departure times were reliably met, which is important for efficient journey planning. The availability of power outlets on the train was adequate. Every seat had access to power sockets, which was particularly useful for those who needed to charge their electronic devices during the journey. Accessibility on the train was well provided. There was ample space for wheelchairs and staff were helpful in assisting passengers with limited mobility. The toilets on the train were clean and well maintained. The facilities were adequate and cleaning was carried out regularly.

I took the ICE from Ilmenau to Erfurt almost two years ago and was satisfied with it. What surprised me was that the train was really very loud for an ICE. Booking was very easy via the Deutsche Bahn app and the departure and arrival information was also pretty accurate. The staff were always friendly and keen to ensure that all passengers received information about the journey. Unfortunately, the train was a little late, which unfortunately happens more often. The journey itself was pleasant and the carriage and seats were clean, which is something I value.

Unfortunately, my train was half an hour late, so I also missed my important appointment, which I found very unfortunate. The train was inconveniently messy, the walls were sticky and so was the floor. The bars you hold on to were very dirty, so I didn't dare touch them. The toilet unfortunately looked the same and did not smell pleasant. The staff were very polite and looked well-groomed. The train had a coffee machine, so you could get a coffee at any time. As already mentioned, I reached my destination too late and missed my appointment. Therefore, I give this train service only three stars.

A great train connection with all the trimmings. Booking this online ticket was very easy. When we arrived at the station, the train was already there, ready to go. This train had a lot of comfort, such as a power socket, a stable wifi connection, a coffee machine, a comfortable and clean seat. The staff were very friendly and always present. The toilet had a window, which was very advantageous, as was a neat cleanliness. I reached my destination very quickly, and as far as the ticket price is concerned, I am completely satisfied and can happily recommend this train service.

I have to say, I didn't expect everything to go so smoothly. Normally I have always had problems with Deutsche Bahn and the many delays of the train, but this time everything went really smoothly. The train arrived and departed on time, the journey was pleasant, not too fast and not too slow, there was a snack machine on the train as well as a coffee machine, so man was served. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a member of staff who could answer my question. The walls and floor were clean, as were the seats, and they were comfortable. What surprised me was that the wifi and electricity on the train worked without any problems, the toilet was disappointingly not as clean as the train, but it was enough. I reached my destination quickly and I think I will use this train service more often in the future.
