Direct flights with budget operator Ryanair are the fastest on the 409-mile route over the Alps to Prague, taking one hour and 30 minutes. Flights with CSA Czech Airlines take two hours. Lufthansa connections via Munich offer the fastest indirect service, taking two hours and 35 minutes, using services from its affiliates Air Dolomiti and Lufthansa Cityline.
CSA Czech Airlines offers one direct flight to Prague from Bologna every day except Wednesdays, with an afternoon take off. Budget operator Ryanair has one flight a week on this route, on Tuesdays. There are also more than 20 daily indirect departures requiring one change.
Departure airport: All services depart from Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport. Located about six miles north-west of the historic center, Bologna Airport is connected by regular Aerobus shuttle services from the central station, taking about 20 minutes to reach the terminal. The airport has long and short stay parking lots, gourmet food stores, snack bars, and business lounges.
Arrival airport: Flights terminate at Prague Vaclav Havel Airport. Vaclav Havel Airport is around eight miles north-west of central Prague, with connections downtown on Airport Express buses and local bus routes to Metro stations, taking around 30 minutes. Passenger facilities include luxury gift stores, bars, restaurants, and car rental desks.
