Berlin to Istanbul Flights

The flight went according to plan and without incident. It was a direct flight without a change of planes. Boarding and the flight itself were smooth. The staff were friendly and helpful. The amenities were standard for economy and a short-haul flight. There was no wifi. The seats were comfortable and the plane was clean. We hit turbulence, but the pilot was quite experienced and managed to get us through fine! Unfortunately, there were no free snacks on board or a glass of water. Otherwise, everything was very good.

On board there was board service, drinks and meals. Everyone received a headset for the entertainment system (own screen). Charging facilities for USB devices were available. The toilet was clean, there were disposable seat pads, toilet paper, towels and soap. The staff was friendly. Seat reservation is available with a fee. Online check-in was possible, but the airline website had technical problems. Changing planes at Istanbul airport involves very long distances and you have to go through another security check for liquids. It is certainly intentional that you have to buy something to drink again in the huge shopping area at the airport. Toilets were available at the airport and clean. Price-performance ratio is ok if you book early enough.

The flight was for business I was very tired and tried to sleep there was no long wait or delays but it was too noisy and there was nothing to eat. I had a headache after a while When I landed I felt better and was well received.

We flew with SunExpress from Berlin to Istanbul. Both airports are relatively far from the city centre. The route takes about 3 hours. The leg distance of 80 cm was sufficient, flight times humane and the destination airport can be reached without changing planes.

The wifi was excellent. My mobile phone and tablet were able to connect to the internet without any problems. It was also a high-speed internet. The seats were very comfortable and well maintained. They also smelled very pleasant. The volume was also reasonable. All the flight attendants were very friendly. They always greeted me with a friendly smile. They also took my problems and concerns with great interest. The Turkish meals were very delicious. The toilets were not necessarily the cleanest. There was no need to change planes and we arrived in Istanbul on time. The price was excellent. Overall, a very great and pleasant trip to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines. Highly recommended!

In 2022, I took a trip from Berlin to Istanbul. I was pleasantly surprised. The wifi was pretty good. After a few attempts, I was able to connect my iPad to it. I was pleased that it worked after the fact. The seats were very comfortable and well maintained. However, the volume was not adequate. The service was very friendly. They responded immediately to my concerns. The toilets were very clean and hygienic. The plane arrived in Istanbul on time. The price was expensive but still the trip was very great and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

In 2022, I had to take a trip to Istanbul because of my work during the Corona crisis. For this I chose my favourite airline, Lufthansa. As always, I was pleasantly surprised. The wifi was very fast and my mobile phone and laptop were able to connect to it quickly. The service was very friendly and greeted me with a big smile. The seats were very comfortable and well maintained. The volume on the plane was reasonable. The flight attendants responded immediately to my concerns and requests. The toilets were very, very hygienic and clean. There was no need to change planes. We also arrived in Istanbul on time. However, the meals were not very tasty. Otherwise, I found the trip with Lufthansa to Istanbul very great and would definitely recommend it.

It was pretty quiet on the plane. It was also extremely cosy and there was plenty of space. Unfortunately, there were a few problems with the food, but the friendly Turkish Airline staff were able to solve this quickly. I didn't use the toilet during the 3-hour flight, so I can't say anything about it. The tickets were very expensive, but it was worth it!

I flew from Berlin to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines. This airline flies to the new IST airport on the European side. The flight was on time and after walking the long way in IST through passport control to the baggage carousel, I didn't have to wait long for my luggage. I was more than satisfied with my flight. I had the choice between a meal with köfte and one with macaroni, and I could also choose my own drinks. During the flight, I watched a film in my seat, which I was able to choose myself. The legroom was also acceptable for me as a tall person. The stewardesses were extremely friendly and gave me extra juice when I asked for it. The toilets were typically very cramped, but clean and equipped with hand care lotion. It's just a shame that flying isn't exactly environmentally friendly, the price was definitely fair for the service if you booked early.
