There is the ruins of the 14th century Kaunas Castle, the 19th century Kaunas State Musical Theatre, the 16th century City Hall and the 15th century wax melting furnace. Buses from Warsaw to Kaunas usually terminate at either Kaunas Bus Station or at the temporary bus station – which is located at the intersection of Gedimino and Griunvaldo streets. This stop is within a short walking distance of Akropolis shopping centre.
