Buses to Liverpool: Journey Details

As one of the major tourist destinations in the UK, Liverpool benefits from an extensive bus network and is served by routes from a number of locations around the country. Direct buses to Liverpool run on a daily basis from major cities including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Newcastle, Cardiff, Belfast and Glasgow. There are also fast and frequent services from smaller towns and cities too, although these may not always be direct. National Express and Megabus are the two main companies operating bus services to Liverpool.

Norton Street Coach Station

The majority of the long-distance bus services to Liverpool terminate at Norton Street Coach Station. Managed by National Express, Norton Street is located close to the center of Liverpool and there are plenty of amenities within walking distance. There are several local bus routes which service Norton Street and the city center. Liverpool Lime Street train station is about a 10 minute walk from Norton Street, however bus services 53 and 58 also run there.
