How to Get to Poznan by Train:

The city of Poznan in western Poland saw a large amount of investment and redevelopment of its central railway station for the Euro 2012 football event. Poznan Railway Station is located on many international and domestic lines, including those offered by EuroNight to Berlin and Munich, REGIO services throughout Poland and eastern Europe, and many local services operated by TLK. Connections can be made from London, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam at Munich and Berlin.

The fourth largest city in Poland, Poznan is home to a number of cathedrals and smaller churches that depict the varied history of the city. The Archicathedral Basilica and Cathedral Church offer some intricately carved sculptures and impressive medieval artworks on display to visitors throughout the year. Those searching for an outdoor experience may wish to spend some time on the stunning Lake Malta. Within the city center, the Polwiejska Street has a mixture of historic buildings and well known shopping brands that sit alongside many bars and restaurants that serve as the central point for the city's buzzing nightlife.
