Advantages
IconBeautiful view during the ride
IconBeautiful trains
Disadvantages
IconEspecially full in summer
IconNot sockets everywhere
Well, I've travelled this route several times. Departure from Munich is usually at platforms 29 and 30. The trains are mostly quite tidy and are partly equipped with power sockets. Wifi is rarely available. The journey takes around 2 hours and, depending on the route, there are 0 to 3 changes. Delays are not uncommon. All in all, however, it is a beautiful route with a view. It's also very busy, especially in summer.
Advantages
IconDirect connection to Munich
Disadvantages
IconDirect connection only 3 times a day
The train connection from Munich to Füssen with the BRB is excellent. The direct connection makes for comfortable travel and the views of the Bavarian countryside are impressive. The staff are friendly and helpful, unfortunately there are only three direct connections. Nevertheless, the trains are punctual, which makes planning easier. Overall, a very good option to travel.
