Train journey from Kassel to Leipzig. Today I took the regional train and the ICE from Kassel to Leipzig to visit my brother. I had to change trains once in Bad Hersfeld. The regional train had wifi and toilets, but only one socket. The train was clean but slightly overcrowded. It was a bit noisy on the train because of a crying baby. The staff were friendly. The train left on time after changing trains, continued on the ICE the train was 5 minutes late. This had an on-board bistro, toilets, wifi and power sockets, very nice staff, it was clean and quiet. I booked my tickets via the online app. I could have booked a seat reservation there, but I didn't think it was necessary.
