The ride was very pleasant, there were no delays and I arrived well at my destination. The landscape was very beautiful and you could see not only lush green trees but also meadows and individual valleys. It was very clean and the staff were polite, which I was pleased about. There were also enough sockets at my place and I could find it easily.

I recently had the pleasure of travelling by train from Hannover to Essen, would like to share my experience. The journey was overall pleasant and bread in a clean environment and sufficient comfort. Price performance. The ticket for the train journey from Hanover to Essen was reasonable and fair. I was able to take advantage of a discount by booking my ticket online in advance. The price was competitive compared to other modes of transport and the quality of the journey was in line with the amount paid. I sugar strikingly clean and well maintained. The seats were freshly cleaned and floor sufficient of its freedom. The floors and windows were also clean, which contributed to such a pleasant travel environment.

My experience: The train was clean when I arrived. The train was pleasantly cool, probably because of a working air conditioning system. Unfortunately, the train was massively delayed, but the friendly staff helped me to get to my final destination, so overall we can say that the train ride was quite pleasant and the staff was friendly.

The train journey was normal. I didn't have wifi, but I had a working power socket. The seats were very comfortable and clean. The volume was very loud as passengers had small children with them. This was very annoying. The food was OK as the staff did their job normally. They were friendly. I had a reservation option. The train was on time and I didn't have to change trains. Unfortunately, the toilets were not clean. Price-performance ratio is OK.
Advantages
Icona very nice train connection
Disadvantages
IconActually none
I often use this train connection. Punctuality is one thing, the train is often late. I have noticed that it is cleaned regularly, which can be seen, for example, on the windows and the floor. The seats could be more modern and are mostly worn out. There is a stable internet connection (wifi), but unfortunately no power source. The toilet looks reasonably ok, but could do with a bit more hygiene. For the price, this train connection is perfectly ok.

I was travelling from Hanover to Essen with a friend. To this day, I still don't know exactly why. The journey went without a hitch and was very relaxing. However, you couldn't use the toilets on our train, they were so dirty. But you could still get through the two hours. The rest of the train was fine and they even gave out food.

I use this connection very often and wanted to rate it here. The train is usually on time. The train is clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, there is no wifi connection, but there is a power source. There was no crowding, so everyone gets their seat. The toilet is clean and tidy. The connection is quite fast, so you reach your destination quickly. My recommendation for this train connection.

The train journey was OK. I had good facilities with wifi and power sockets. The seats were very uncomfortable. They were hard and had a lot of stains. The volume was very quiet, which I liked. But the food was not good at all. The staff didn't take care of me at all. They did not help me to vacate my reserved seat as someone sat on it. I was not given any information either. However, the toilets were very clean. I did not have to change trains and the train was on time. Price-performance ratio is OK.

The ICE takes about 2 hours from Hanover to Essen. It is very advantageous that you can reserve a seat. The service on board is very good. Unfortunately a bit overpriced, but you can eat and drink well. The train arrived relatively punctually and was not delayed. The staff on board were also extremely friendly. The toilets were very clean. I would use this train service again.

The facilities were great on my train journey from Wifi and there were plenty of power sockets. The comfort was also okay, the noise level was pleasant and catering was available. The service was great, the staff were super friendly, even with the children, and the reservation options were excellent. However, the train was quite dirty and the toilets didn't look clean. The journey time was quite good, except that the train was late as so often. The ticket cost very little money, very good.

I travelled in second class and was able to charge my mobile phone conveniently using the socket below me. Wifi was not available. The conductor was very friendly and my compartment was pleasantly quiet. My seat reservation worked perfectly. I think the price for 2nd class is quite high.

My train journey from Wifi to Essen was fine, the facilities were okay as there were plenty of power sockets and wifi. However, the comfort wasn't that great because my seat was broken and it was also very noisy as there were a lot of children there. The service was great, especially the staff were always helpful and friendly. However, it wasn't clean on the train, which I noticed in the toilets within the first 10 minutes. The journey time was perfect and the price was also good.
