The train that was supposed to go from Frankfurt to Basel had been enormously delayed that day. I therefore got on another train that was also going to Basel. The replacement train had been on time, but very full. Due to the change of trains, I had no seat and had to stand for several hours until I got a free one. On the other hand, the toilets and wifi on this train were fine. The price was not more than expected for the train route, so it was fine.

A few weeks ago, I travelled via ICE from Frankfurt to Basel. The journey was quite relaxing due to the comfortable seats and air conditioning. The toilets were also clean and everything had a good standard of hygiene. Unfortunately, the wifi kept going down. I had to make a change to another train unfortunately and we also had to deal with some delay. The price is okay.

My ICE journey from Frankfurt am Main to Basel about a year ago went well. The journey itself was very relaxed, as I didn't have to change trains once and we didn't have to deal with any delays. The journey was also comfortable in that there was no noise in the ICE. The hygienic condition, especially in the toilets, was very good. Unfortunately, the ticket inspector was very unfriendly and the wifi didn't always work.
