Duisburg to Frankfurt train

So, as far as the train ticket from Duisburg to Frankfurt am Main is concerned, I have to say that it is really top in terms of punctuality and reliability. You can rely on arriving on time. That's definitely a plus. But, and this is the catch, it is unfortunately a bit more expensive. If you're willing to spend a bit more to arrive on time and without worries, it's a good choice. But if you're on a tight budget, it might be a bit too much. Still, if reliability is important to you, this ticket is a solid option.

I had a mixed experience on my train journey from Duisburg to Frankfurt. Let's start with the positive aspects: The train journey was quite comfortable overall. The seats were comfortable and there was enough space for my luggage. The train's furnishings were modern and appealing. The service on board was also satisfactory. The train staff were friendly and helpful. If you had any questions or concerns, you could contact them and usually received a quick response. The cleanliness on the train was also fine. The carriages were cleaned regularly, so there was no major soiling. Unfortunately, however, there were also some negative aspects. The punctuality left a lot to be desired. The train was slightly late, which meant that I missed my connecting train and had to wait for the next connection. This was annoying and added to my travelling time. Another disadvantage was the price-performance ratio. The ticket prices were quite high and I would have expected better quality and a smooth process for the price.

The train arrived on time. The train made a good impression from the outside. When I got on the train, I found my seat easily, which was very soft and comfortable, which is ideal for longer journeys. The toilet facilities were super clean and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accessibility was fine, there were wide doors and lifts for people with reduced mobility. I deduct one star for the overpriced ticket price in my opinion.

I have to say that I am very often lucky with my train journeys, as my trains are usually on time or only slightly delayed, as was the case on this journey. What I also have to say is that the train is very comfortable because there is enough space to move around freely and the seats are not bad either. In my compartment, the toilets were blocked, which was a bit annoying, but I could just go in the other compartment. So it was a good experience.
