IconNo ticket control
I got from Dresden to Meißen quickly and comfortably by S-Bahn without changing trains. At the beginning, the train had been relatively full, but this had changed in the course of the journey. The seats were very comfortable for an S-Bahn and even had power sockets and an internet connection. The train had not been delayed at all during the journey. However, there was no staff on this train as there was no ticket control. However, the announcements were very understandable and the atmosphere on the train was pleasant.
Advantages
IconMany fast connections
Disadvantages
IconFull lane
IconDirty toilet
As usual with DB, there were power sockets on the train, not always within reach, but still there when needed. Toilets were unfortunately not completely clean this time, but also often free. Due to the 49-euro ticket, only the search for a seat was a bit trickier than usual. I didn't have to wait long for other connections, and with my previous train journeys I have long since recovered the price of the 49-euro ticket. You should probably reserve a seat if you don't want to take any risks. Unlike other times I've experienced, this time everything went smoothly. The times corresponded with the times in the app and there were enough options for getting food.
