My train journey from Dresden to Berlin was overall enjoyable. The fast internet and the reliability of the train deserve special mention. I was able to work productively and the journey went smoothly. Unfortunately, the train was quite full, which made the journey a little less comfortable. Nevertheless, the positives outweigh the negatives for business travellers and those who need to travel online, this train connection is an excellent choice.
Advantages
IconFast connection
IconComfortable train
Disadvantages
IconSlight delay
The journey with Deutsche Bahn from Dresden to Berlin went almost smoothly, except for a small delay. The train was comfortable and equipped with wifi, as well as power sockets. The service staff are friendly and courteous. The toilets are relatively clean. Unfortunately, I had to change trains several times to get to my destination. Nevertheless, the price-performance ratio is reasonable if you book the ticket in time.
Advantages
IconAlready there before the scheduled arrival time
Iconwithout change
Disadvantages
Iconvery many passengers
Iconbad wifi
I recently took the IC from Dresden Hbf to Berlin Südkreuz and it was a very pleasant journey. The train arrived on time and as I had not booked a seat reservation, it was a bit difficult to find a seat at first. After I was able to get a seat, the rest of the journey was without complications. Thanks to the power sockets under the seats, I was able to charge my notebook, which I worked on while I was travelling. As expected, the wifi was unfortunately very busy and correspondingly poor. We arrived at Südkreuz 10 minutes before we were supposed to and I can only recommend this connection compared to the alternative with the regional trains.
Advantages
IconPrice-performance ratio
IconJourney duration (punctuality)
IconService (friendliness)
Disadvantages
IconCleanliness
My train ticket from Dresden to Berlin was a real bargain! The price was unbeatable and the journey time was super punctual. The facilities on the train made the journey pleasant. But to be honest, the cleanliness on the train left a bit to be desired, that was the only downside. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a cheap ticket with good punctuality and facilities and can overlook minor cleanliness issues, this train ticket is definitely recommended. I had an overall pleasant journey and would consider it again.
Advantages
IconCheap ticket
IconPunctual journey

Disadvantages
IconNone
We had a good journey by train and are pleased that we can book such cheap journeys. Including the seat reservation, the ticket is still cheaper than other means of travel. The train was not delayed and everything was on time. It was clean and well ventilated, although the train looked older. The internet also worked and it was a great journey with no disruptions. Travelling by train is highly recommended.
Advantages
IconShort train journey
IconNice staff
IconDelicious restaurant
Disadvantages
IconUnclean toilets
IconVery busy train
IconTrain was late (heavily)
The journey from Dresden to Berlin was many months ago now, but I remember that the train had wifi, which wasn't particularly good, but it was there and there were plenty of sockets. The comfort was okay, you could hardly use it because the train was so full. But the service was very good, the food was delicious and the staff were good. The train was very fast, so the journey time was short, but it was almost 40 minutes late. Value for money was okay, I would have asked for a lower price.
Advantages
IconComfortable seats
IconBeautiful landscape
Disadvantages
IconTicket was expensive
The train journey from Dresden to Berlin was a pleasant experience. The train was clean and comfortable and the seats provided ample space for comfort during the journey. The scenic route was picturesque, especially along the Elbe River. The journey was on time which made the journey stress free. The ability to work during the journey or simply enjoy the view makes it a recommended option for travelling between these two cities.
Advantages
IconFast arrival

Disadvantages

IconWifi often does not work
Power socket is available. Wifi often does not work properly. The seating is good. Friendly staff. Reservations always work well. You always get information. It is also punctual. Cleanliness and value for money are really great
