If you want to visit Cannes while traveling in France, getting there from Nice should be simple. You can either catch a local bus, which provides stunning views of the coast, or take an express train. That way, you can be relaxing on the beach in Cannes within a couple of hours of leaving your hotel. An alternative is to enlist car pooling services of Bla Bla Car which run connections between the two cities.
Return trips from Cannes to Nice are also available.
Nice and Cannes are only 33 kilometers away from each other, so catching the bus is a great option if you want to visit this classy riviera resort. The right bus to catch from Nice is local bus number 200 from rue Verdun/Albert 1ere although you can catch it anywhere along the Promenade des Anglais. This might make buses a more convenient option for people who don't want to make the journey across town to the station. Buses leave every 15 to 20 minutes 7 days a week and take around 1 hour 30 minutes to reach Cannes.
Taking the train is the most popular, fastest and most convenient way to get from Nice to Cannes.
