If you want to visit Cannes while traveling in France, getting there from Nice should be simple. The right bus to catch from Nice is local bus number 200 from rue Verdun/Albert 1ere although you can catch it anywhere along the Promenade des Anglais. This might make buses a more convenient option for people who don't want to make the journey across town to the station. Buses leave every 15 to 20 minutes 7 days a week and take around 1 hour 30 minutes to reach Cannes.
