Getting from Barcelona to London is simple, and anyone making the journey will have plenty of choice. The fastest and most convenient way to get to London is flying - and there are hourly departures from El Prat airport every day of the week. Trains and buses present a possible alternative for non-fliers, and offer the possibility of a stopover in Paris.

Megabus currently offer two buses per day between Barcelona Nord and London Victoria Coach Station, with a morning departure at 6:30 a.m. and an evening bus leaving at 4:30 p.m. Both journeys take 26 hours 30 minutes with a 2 hour stopover in Paris along the way.
Catching the train is a realistic route from Barcelona to London, with a manageable journey time of just over 10 hours. Travelers will need to catch a TGV to Paris. The first TGV leaves at 6:20 a.m., and the last at 6:35 p.m. When they reach Paris, they will need to switch to a Eurostar for the second leg into London St Pancras. In between, a short transfer between Bercy station and Gare du Nord will be required, which takes about 20 minutes.

Airlines operating the route include British Airways, Ryanair, Vueling, Iberia and EasyJet with flights landing at Heathrow, Luton, Gatwick and Stansted airports. The flight time lasts for just over 2 hours, and flights leave as early as 6:20 a.m., concluding at 9:50 p.m.
