German operator FlixBus provides 3 buses daily, with mid-morning and late morning departures and a final connection in the early evening. Journey times are around 45 minutes. Buses depart from the Amsterdam Sloterdijk terminus just to the west of the Centraal rail station. They arrive at the central rail station in The Hague. It is also possible to make the journey using local buses although these journeys may take more than 2 hours and involve changing at Haarlem or Leiden.

Dutch national railways, Nederlandse Spoorwegen, operates a fast and frequent direct train service between Amsterdam and the Dutch administrative capital in The Hague. Services begin very early in the morning and continue through to midnight with at least 3 connections an hour throughout the day. Sprinter and Intercity trains operate on 2 routes to the Hague, some via Hoofddorp or Schiphol Airport. Journey times range from around 50 minutes to an hour. Trains depart from Centraal station, located just to the north of Dam square in the city center. They arrive at the central station in The Hague on the eastern edge of the city center, next to the Haagse Bos park. Some trains from Amsterdam also stop at the older Hollands Spoor station, located just to the south of the city center.
