The ICE was equipped with everything you need for a train journey, comfortable seats, wifi, power sockets and an on-board bistro. The wifi could be a bit more stable, but otherwise everything was great. The train left Leipzig on time and arrived in Eisenach on time. The toilets, seats and tables were clean and the service staff polite. The price-performance ratio, if you book well in advance, was also great!

I travelled from Leipzig to Eisenach in mid-October. The train journey was very relaxed. I had a seat reservation and no delays. The route between Leipzig and Eisenach does not require any changes. The toilets were very clean and the staff were friendly. As I had the seat to myself, I was able to make great use of the power socket and work during the train journey. The wifi on the ICE also worked very well.
Advantages
IconSufficient power sockets and snack machine available
IconComfortable seats
IconFriendly staff
IconCleanliness and hygiene
IconOn time and without changing trains
Disadvantages
IconNo internet connection available
I was able to travel very quickly from Leipzig to Eisenach on the regional express train. However, it didn't have an internet connection, so I couldn't work en route. Otherwise, there were plenty of power sockets and even a snack machine in the centre of the train. The seats were also very comfortable and had a large table, which was a great advantage for me to work on, but unfortunately without internet. The staff here were very friendly and carried out a relaxed ticket inspection. The train wasn't delayed and I didn't have to change trains on my journey. The cleanliness and hygiene was definitely there.
