There was no need to change trains from Essen to Herne. The train was also very punctual here. However, as the journey progressed, the train became more and more crowded, so it got louder and louder in the passenger compartment. The seats here were very comfortable and had plenty of power sockets and a stable internet connection. I found the toilets very hygienic and the passenger compartment very clean. The staff here were friendly and made a positive impression. The train also had a snack vending machine. Overall, the journey was very good, especially due to the short journey time!
