My journey from Erfurt to Frankfurt with Deutsche Bahn went smoothly, but with a delay. I liked the selection in the on-board bistro and the price of the ticket was fair. Negative points were the punctuality of the train and the somewhat unfriendly service on board. The capacity utilisation of the train on Sunday afternoon was also very high. All in all, however, I would take the trip with Deutsche Bahn for this route again at any time.

I was impressed right from the start. From the hassle-free, book my tickets through the rail website. The system was intuitive and user-friendly, and I received my ticket immediately by email, which saved me time and stress. On the day of travel, I can arrive at Erfurt central station full of anticipation and was amazed at the cleanliness and modern ambience of the station. The display boards were clearly visible and showed clear information about the trains and departure times. The friendly and helpful staff at the information desk were happy to keep us going when I had another small question. The train itself was spotlessly clean and on time. The seats were comfortable and offered enough space for my legs and luggage. The wifi worked flawlessly, so I was able to check my emails and surf the internet in a relaxed manner during the journey. I was particularly impressed by the breathtaking scenery that could be admired during the train ride. The route led through picturesque villages, rolling hills and green forests, which made the journey a real treat for the eyes.
