The best way to travel to Bratislava from London is bia Germany and Austria. Travellers can board the Eurostar at St Pancras International and depart at Brussels Midi, after a journey of just over 3 hours. From here you can switch to the high speed Thalys train which travels direct to Cologne. From here you can take some time to see the sights before embarking on the final leg of your journey with the EuroNight sleeper train, which leaves Cologne at 8:00 p.m. and arrives in Vienna just over 12 hours later. From here it's just a short trip over to Bratislava - there are direct trains from Vienna's central train station to the Slovakian capital every hour, with a journey time of just over 1 hour.
Bratislava is the capital and largest city in Slovakia. Overlooking the city, Bratislava Castle is one of Bratislava's top attractions, and has free entry and stunning views of Slovakia for miles. Just behind the castle is the Slav├şn monument, commemorating the liberation of Slovakia in World War II.
