If you want to travel to Copenhagen by ship, you should make sure that you don't book the trip to Gedser, as this port is about 2 hours away from Copenhagen. Finnlines booked us directly to Copenhagen and we also had our car with us. Everything went absolutely smoothly and I found the crossing very pleasant. The staff were extremely nice and the cabin was also very inviting. For me, Finnlines is absolutely first class and I would book the crossing again.
