There are frequent departures throughout the day with a total of 90 daily sailings. Trasmapi operate their crossing up to 27 times daily, Balearia up to 31 times, Aquabus eight times every day and the Mediterranea Pitiusa service is available up to 24 times daily. During summer, there is a ferry to Formentera every 30 minutes. The frequency may drop considerably during the low season. Check the timetables online to see the schedules. Although the frequency may drop, there are still regular departures but the last ferry leaves much earlier than summer time when ferries may operate until midnight.

Served by La Savina, many ferry services that come from Ibiza and big yachts come to moor at the port. Formentera is only reachable by the sea and you can only arrive to the port of La Savina by ferry. At the port, there is a taxi rank near the ferry terminal and a regular bus service.
