Fred. Olsen Express is a leading ferry operator in the Canary Islands, Spain, established in 1974. The company operates a fleet of 12 vessels, including seven high-speed ships, three mini ferries, and a cargo vessel, connecting six inter-island routes and a coastal service in La Gomera. In 2024, Fred. Olsen Express expanded its services to include a connection with El Hierro and launched a cargo division, Fred. Olsen Express Cargo. Annually, the company transports over 3.5 million passengers, 63,000 pets, nearly one million vehicles, and approximately 1.3 million linear meters of freight. Committed to sustainability, Fred. Olsen Express has implemented over 90 environmental initiatives, including a paperless policy and advanced technological systems to enhance safety and navigation.
