Cruce del Golfo was the first passenger ferry company to provide regular sailings across the Gulf of Fonseca, between La Unión in El Salvador and Potosí on the coast of Nicaragua. This service offers a faster and more scenic route, saving approximately ten hours compared to land border crossings. The ferry, named Stella Maris, was built in 2016 and can accommodate up to 28 passengers with ample luggage space. With over twenty years of experience in the maritime industry, the founders, captains, and staff possess extensive knowledge of the region, ensuring an authentic and safe experience.
