It operates directly and through subsidiaries in Italy (including Busitalia Veneto and Busitalia Campania) and in the Netherlands via Qbuzz. Busitalia focuses on local public transport, complementing railway services in urban and suburban areas. The company also manages intermodal services in Umbria, including light rail, ferries, and funiculars. Busitalia is committed to renewing its fleet with more environmentally friendly buses, including electric and hybrid models. Luggage included
One piece of hand luggage (50x30x25 cm, max 10 kg) and one piece of hold luggage (80x50x30 cm, max 20 kg) are included free of charge.
Additional luggage
An additional hold luggage item (80x50x30 cm, max 20 kg) or special baggage (total volume not exceeding 240 cm, max 30 kg) can be purchased.
Cancellation Policy
Vouchers are issued for cancellations made before departure, which can be used for future purchases within one year.
Refund
If a journey is canceled or delayed at departure by more than 120 minutes due to the company's responsibility, passengers can choose between continuing the trip, a cancellation voucher, or a cash reimbursement.

Busitalia : how to book with Omio

To book BusItalia tickets from the Omio you just have to enter the arrival and departure cities, together with the day you want to leave. Once all the various combinations have appeared, you must select the one that suits you best and proceed with the payment, which can be made by credit card, Paypal, Google or Apple Pay. Before paying you must also enter the names and dates of birth of passengers.

BusItalia tickets are valid only on the date and time indicated on the ticket and must be validated. You can cancel your ticket no later than 24 hours before departure, and buy an alternative ticket for another date. Can I change or cancel my ticket?

You can only re-validate your ticket once after cancelling your first reservation, within 24 hours of your chosen travel date. Cancellations must be made by e-mail, telephone or fax to the addresses available on the official website. It is mandatory to reuse the ticket within 120 days from the date of cancellation. There is no refund if you decide to not travel. If your initianal ticket is a promotion fare, you will have to pay a surcharge for the standard fare in order to cancel and reuse it. The cancellation of tickets purchased online must necessarily be made following the instructions of the official website.

What services are available on board BusItalia buses?

When you purchase your ticket, you are entitled to carry one small piece of hand luggage on the bus with you and two large pieces of luggage in the hold. There is also a weight limit, which is higher for international travel. If this limit is exceeded there is a surcharge to be paid on board. It is not possible to transport animals on board, the only exception being guide dogs for the blind. Smoking and alcohol consumption are prohibited on board BusItalia buses. The use of mobile phones is allowed in respect of other passengers.
