There are only three to four buses offered per day but they are spread apart so regardless of the time you need to make a trip, you will most likely find a bus. From Calpe to Altea, you will find about 21 to 25 buses weekly. Alsa is one of the largest companies in Spain which serve buses locally and also nationally. You do not have the option of choosing an indirect or a direct bus because only one of that type is offered.
The journey by bus from Calpe to Altea is not long at all. Both are coastal cities and both are only about 7 miles (11.2 km) from each other. This means, that you can reach Altea from Calpe in about 15min to 20min. There is high demand for this bus, so Alsa offers timings throughout the day to satisfy this demand. The bus station in Altea is called Altea, Carretera Nacional 332. It is 30min from the city center and can be reached by rail on Light Rail L9. It is about a 40min walk from Olla de Altea. At this bus station, you will be provided public restrooms, Wi-Fi, and food that you may eat while waiting.
The only bus company that travels from Calpe to Altea is Alsa. It is a local bus but it provides all the necessary amenities that any other company would offer. It offers three to four buses per day and they always leave at around the same time. You will not have an option for a transfer so be prepared to take a direct bus all the way to Altea.
Alsa is one of the largest bus companies in Spain which provides local and national level transport for its customers. The demand for the Calpe to Altea bus route is high and Alsa satisfies this by providing many buses that passengers can take throughout the day.
