The Imbi Monorail Station sits in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s Bukit Bintang district, making it one of the most convenient stops for shopping, dining, and nightlife. It lies on the KL Monorail line connecting KL Sentral to Titiwangsa, placing travelers right in the center of the city’s action. From here, you can easily explore nearby attractions such as Jalan Alor food street and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

Getting to Imbi
Located in a prime tourist area, the Imbi Monorail Station is on Imbi Street. It is situated between Berjaya Times Square and Plaza Berjaya. In addition, the station is close to other tourist spots such as Bukit Bintang and Lalaport. The street is as busy as ever on both weekdays and weekends.


Entrances at Imbi
The Imbi Monorail Station has two entrances separated by Imbi Road. One gate is near Plaza Berjaya.

The other gate is near Berjaya Times Square.

Station Layout
There are elevators on both sides of the gates that go up to the station floor for the monorail.

You can also enter the station level through Plaza Berjaya or Berjaya Times Square on their first floors as both provide connecting bridges to the station.

On this level you can find amenities below:

- Toilets
- Wheelchair assistance machine

Ticketing and Boarding
You can board the monorail in three ways:
Token – Buy tokens from token machines if you have the exact cash amount, as they do not give change, or from customer counters where you can pay by QR.
Tickets can be purchased from token machines and customer counters. They are located in front of each of the connecting bridges from Berjaya Times Square or Plaza Berjaya.

Touch and Go card – You can buy a Touch and Go card from branches in many places in KL. The customer counters also provide special TnG cards, but you cannot reload them by yourself unlike the regular Touch and Go card.
Passes – You can use the MY50 Monthly Pass to board the Monorail and other public transportation if you are a Malaysian citizen, otherwise, you can buy tourist passes for three days to enjoy all Rapid KL public transportation (including the monorail).

After purchasing a token, pass, or Touch and Go card, you can scan them at the gate to enter the platform.

After sucessfully scan your tokens, passes, or cards on the gate, you can enter the platform by stairs.

There are two platforms for the monorail: Platform 1 goes to Titiwangsa as the last destination

Platform 2 goes to KL Sentral as the last destination.

If you enter from the stairway near Berjaya Times Square, you will be on Platform 2, while on the other side is Platform 1.
If you wish to switch platforms, you can go through the walkway below the platforms.

Afterward, you just need to wait for the monorail to arrive. Imbi is the fifth station from KL Sentral and is a popular destination for tourists or those who wish to go to Singapore or Johor Bahru by bus.

Exitx and Transport
Upon exiting the monorail, there are many signs that point to the exit.
Exit from Platform 2 if you wish to go to the street near Berjaya Times Square.

Take the exit from Platform 1 if you wish to go to the street near Plaza Berjaya.

There is an e-hailing pick-up/drop-off spot near Berjaya Times Square.

There is also a bus stop that serves as a DRT (Demand Rapid Transport) station and an express bus service to Singapore and Johor.
