Tirrenia – Compagnia Italiana di Navigazione is an Italian ferry company based in Naples, specializing in maritime transportation between the Italian mainland and islands such as Sardinia, Sicily, and the Tremiti Islands. Established in 2012 following the privatization of the state-owned Tirrenia di Navigazione, the company operates a modern fleet of ferries, including the Sharden, a 214-meter vessel capable of carrying 2,908 passengers and 850 cars. Tirrenia offers various onboard amenities, including restaurants, self-service areas, bars, and facilities for disabled passengers, ensuring a comfortable journey for all travelers.
