The train journey on the EC from Berlin. Travelling abroad, Poland to Warsaw, was one of the best train journeys I've ever taken. First of all, the good cleanliness, hygiene and equipment on the train stood out, which can usually also be convincing on German domestic journeys, but what impressed me much more on this train journey was, on the one hand, the staff, who seemed much more committed, less stressed and more relaxed than I am familiar with from domestic journeys in Germany. On the other hand, the punctuality and reliability of this train with predominantly Polish staff spoke for itself. We left Berlin exactly on time and arrived back in Warsaw exactly on time, which really impressed me. There were no problems at all. We had to wait briefly once, which the train driver explained very well and clearly in English. All in all, the journey was an extremely positive surprise. I hadn't expected such an organised and perfectly run train journey. Especially after my previous train journey from Hanover to Berlin, which had a few complications along the way. So I can only warmly recommend the journey from Berlin to Poland or Warsaw to anyone. On the one hand, it is a cheap way to get to Poland and on the other, it is a reliable and thoroughly successful way of travelling.
